What is the word on streaming the conference content? A fellow board member is presenting at the conference and I was wondering if we are going to be able to see all the speakers, or just featured ones, or any at all?
The word is… all main hall presentations and panels will be posted to this venue within 1 hour of closing, on the hour, all day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
There will be some additional content captured, but unforseen limitations placed upon the Summit by the local union have made comprehensive capturing impossible on a nonprofit budget.
That said, we will be capturing as much as we can and anything the camera catches will be broadcast here. Thanks for checking in!
Hey, I hope all of the presentations (and panels) will be added to YouTube. I would love to be able to share the ideas of this conference through my website, http://www.filmsforaction.org – as I’m sure many others would.
Also, a DVD featuring all the main presentations would be amazing, especially if cheap and approved for public access TV and public screening use, if financially possible. Thanks for making this conference happen! I hope to make it next year, perhaps when there is a lower student/activist discount.
